The Hard Truth
This ministry did not begin from success.
It was born out of collapse.
For nearly 20 years, I was a Christian who had experienced real change—
at the beginning…
but wasn't really growing much—
or at least as fast as I had expected.
I knew Scripture.
I believed truth.
But internally—
I was stuck.
Layer that with a lifetime of ADHD, feeling like an outsider, never quite fitting in…
and that same pattern began to define my relationship with God.
I felt overlooked.
Left behind.
Unchanged.
Then life broke open.
My wife of 15 years left.
Not quietly—but in a way that dismantled everything:
- Separated from my children
- Financially destroyed
- False accusations
- Arrest
- Restrictions that prevented me from even being near my own kids
And worse than all of it…
A systematic effort to turn my children against me.
For over a decade, survival—not growth—became the goal.
I wasn’t just struggling.
I was unraveling.
At one point… I came close to ending my life—
as a Christian!
The Turning Point
And then something happened that didn’t make sense.
God didn’t change my circumstances.
He changed my heart, my focus and my direction.
He led me into something I never would have chosen:
To write.
To study deeply.
To press into Scripture—
not for knowledge, but for transformation.
Out of that process came what is now:
The Renewing Your Mind Discipleship Ministry
and the Book, Process and Curriculum.
But the real evidence wasn’t the material.
It was this:
One day… I caught myself smiling.
For no reason.
My life hadn’t changed.
But I had.
That was the beginning of something real:
- Love
- Joy
- Peace
Not theoretical.
Not taught.
Lived.
The Mission
This ministry exists for one reason:
To help believers close the gap between knowing truth and being transformed by it.
Not through inspiration.
Not through information.
But through intentional, structured engagement with Scripture that reaches beneath the surface.
Because most believers are never shown how to actually walk through the process of renewing your mind.
The Impact
This work is already being used to:
- Help individuals break out of long-term spiritual stagnation
- Equip churches with a structured discipleship curriculum
- Guide believers into real transformation—not just understanding
But here’s the reality:
This kind of work doesn’t scale on its own.
It requires:
- Time to teach and refine
- Resources to distribute
- Capacity to reach churches and individuals who are stuck and hurting
And many of the people who need this most… cannot fund it themselves.
